Panoramic Chicago Sunset
I took a quick panorama looking south and west before sunset on 3-6-24. As the early March days continue to lengthen, I notice the sun is setting at 264°. In only a couple of weeks the sun will set due west at 270°, when it’s the spring equinox.
Sunny Winter Afternoon
An exceptionally sunny early February afternoon in downtown Chicago. Looking to the southeast, the vibrant blue Lake Michigan glistens in the low angle sunlight. This picture was taken around 2:46pm on February 4.
