A lack of personal interest in the industry has made the business too tiresome to operate.

Residential Lawn Mowing

Residential lawn maintenance is the most common service we provide. We use a standard two and three quarter inch mowing height that will allow the lawn to look trimmed, but still maintain good water retention. Of course, mowing height can always be altered to suit your needs.

Mowing services are accompanied with trimming (weed whacking). Trimming around trees, landscaping, fences and playground equipment allows for a finished look, and also makes the lawn look cleaner.

All of our mowing equipment discharges the grass clippings. When the lawn is properly maintained, this system is ideal for all circumstances.

However, if the lawn has not been mowed for a long time, or if it grows quickly due to rain, clippings may accumulate from the discharge. When this occurs, we will rake and dispose the grass to keep the lawn free of clippings. If the clippings are excessive, due to lack of previous maintenance before Nick's Lawn Care, an additional raking/ bagging fee will be assessed.

Residential Lawn Care:  Tight terrain is never a problem for our 22 inch mowers.

Sidewalk edging is also available upon request. In most cases, it will be provided for you with a minimal charge. Edging is recommended monthly. This service will create a clean look and clearly define your landscape.

Commercial Lawn Care

Commercial lawn maintenance is another portion of our service. With a fleet of quality commercial equipment, your business landscape will look professional and presentable to your customers.

Commercial Mowing:  Large fields

For large field applications, Nick's Lawn Care will be able to mow down one acre in as little as 20 minutes.

As with residential, commercial services come standard with trimming/ weed whacking. The standard two and three quarter inch mowing height is used, and can be changed upon request.

Edging of sidewalk areas is available, and highly recommended. Commercial property owners should definitely consider sidewalk edging because it creates a wonderful appearance by clearly defining the landscape from the sidewalk, as well as providing a finished look.

Small Miscellaneous Services

Nick's Lawn Care does tree pruning and small tree removal. We can prune trees of excessive branches, unsightly branches, or unhealthy and dead branches. Tree pruning is a very important landscaping service, as it can greatly improve the look of your property. It is also very healthy for the trees and bushes when spray branches are removed from the trunk of the tree.

In most cases, we dispose of the waste for you for a nominal disposal charge. The city of Naperville also has 2 summer brush collections. In that case, we will move all brush clippings to the end of the curb by the street before city crews come to collect it.
