DJ @Live Edgar Pinzon

Edgar is from Guatemala & Came to Chicago to visit friends, and check out the club scene. I met Edgar at a friend's house on a Friday, and we all went to Chicago's Crobar on Kingsbury St. All of us in the group enjoyed VIP treatment that evening. I got to know Edgar and learned that he has been DJing for the past 11 years! Edgar also is a resident at a club in Guatemala City.

A few days later, we had Edgar over at my house, and he took it to the tables and spun up some of my best tracks on vinyl. He recorded a 60 minute album as well! It was quite impressive to have a real long standing professional in my basement, going totally nuts on my turntables! We took photos, videos and professional audio recordings of his work. His style is very energetic, similar to that of Mauro Picotto, always changing the sounds via the mixer and delivering high quality, non-stop, hard hitting beats.
