Renny Harlin's classic 1993 action film
is commemorated in a three and a half minute long
tribute trailer. Some of the movie's most
memorable dialog and action sequences are edited into an
entertaining and humorous trailer.
Winter

Dominican Republic. This scenic video features
wintry weather shots of
Chicago and the contrasting tropical weather in the Caribbean.

Surface Of
Eceon- The Open Sea
A 7 minute music video featuring amazing photography
of Earth's South Pole in June, 2004. Witness 24 hour daylight
and breathtaking images of the moon and stars while the sun is still
above the horizon. Notice the awe inspiring waves of aurorae,
which are charged particles from the sun that are normally visible
near the Earth's poles, due to their interaction with our planet's
magnetic field. The video was photographed by by scientists from the
University
of San Diego & the US Government. It was edited By Nick Liveris Watch This Video

Music Video Preview 3: The Offseason Slugfest 2005
The song Pepper, by The Butthole Surfers is used to create a
third installment in a series of fun preview videos meant to
motivate people to play ball. This video is the first
appearance of M. Bigham, who was originally meant to appear in the
early episodes of the
Slugfest.
The preview takes its usual twist by displaying some random 2005
Cubs game's highlights.
Another hypnotic Nick & Bob Video. A two and a half minute
look at Bob getting punched in the face set to the stimulating music
of The Stars Of The Lid.
The
Flaming Lips- Do You Realize
A two minute excerpt from the song which I feel has an incedible
amount of symbolism, as well as literal and scientific
meaning. I was first exposed to this song at the
Adler
Planetarium's sky show entitled, "Sonic Vision."
This music video features photography & editing tricks and is loaded with contemporary symbolism:
Pablo Neruda's heartfelt poetry
is expressed visually in this 7 minute presentation of symbolic
imagery. A man expresses his love for a woman in Veinte Poemas
de Amor. The video features Matt & Paola Bigham and music from
Bloemontein & Julio Iglesias.
The movie is spoken in Spanish with English subtitles.

The Off Season Slugfest is a meaningless saga about playing 16 inch
Chicago-style softball in November.
It's fun to rally those people who used to excel in baseball back in
High School.
Forcing friends to dust off their baseball gloves, and break out the
old bats is difficult, but worthwhile.
The movies were shot in late October and November 2004. The
location is the picturesque baseball diamond #1 at the North Avenue
Fields in Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood. The movies were
shot by Director Nick Liveris, using a small still digital-camera with
movie mode.

Abreaction: The Emotion Behind The Music
A nine minute long documentary about Abreaction, the solo acoustic
act from Chicago. The documentary film explores who Abreaction
is, the style of music he performs and other various concepts
surrounding the artist. Features sophisticated photography, quality audio, and professional
video quality.
Abreaction makes a
guest appearance in a fun music video called "Running Away,"
music by
Radar. The music video stars actor & musician Bob Shah, who sings under the name
Abreaction.
The
cinematography and editing techniques are slightly experimental, using fluid movement, and
solid framing. The mixture of still
photography & motion picture video provide an eye pleasing look into urban
landscapes.

Chicago Sunset
Time Lapse Photography Video
This short movie features quality time lapse photography,
wide angle urban landscape shots, set to dramatic music as the
sun sets over Chicago. This originally was a project for film school in which I was to demonstrate
the use of dramatic music.
The 2002 release
of "The Norseman." A 15 minute satirical, non-fiction
documentary which supports the idea that the Vikings discovered
North America. This is in contrast to the popularly accepted fact
that Christopher Colombus was the true discoverer. Watch this movie, to
find the answer...
